Moorings Park is introducing a number of improvements to its physicians’ medical practice that are designed to ensure the community’s residents and Platinum and Diamond members are fully realizing the benefits of an integrated approach across Moorings Park’s renowned continuum of healthcare. Provided under the name of the Moorings Park Care 360 Concierge Healthcare Program, the services will be available to residents and all existing and prospective members in 2017. The Care 360 concierge healthcare program supports the overall Moorings Park commitment to provide Simply the Best® amenities and services with professional and compassionate care to each person served. Moorings Park’s mission is to provide outstanding healthcare while enabling our members and residents to live longer, healthier, happier lives.
To that end, Moorings Park has entered an exclusive partnership with Naples Community Hospital (NCH®) and has implemented a concierge medicine model offering patients a higher level of personalized primary care. Through this partnership, patients will receive a highly personalized health management and assessment program under the guidance of experienced on- site primary care physicians who emphasize preventative care, as well as fitness and nutrition counseling.
The Moorings Park NCH partnership calls for NCH Administration to provide expert oversight of Moorings Park’s physicians and staff with direction from Moorings Park to ensure the needs of the community are met. The partnership will provide residents and members with important advantages, including care provided by experienced, board-certified primary care physicians; additional time allocated for office visits and exams in an unhurried setting; physicians available 24-hours a day, seven days a week for emergencies; annual comprehensive physicals with a health assessment to develop a baseline medical profile; a focus on preventative care and education; close follow-up regarding medical appointments, tests and preventative evaluations; enhanced access to doctors via phone, text or email; coordination of NCH hospital care, including admissions, visitation and records; coordination of care throughout the NCH Healthcare System, as well as quick appointments with leading area specialists as needed; house calls when necessary; daily visits by a physician to either NCH or The Chateau®; access to advances in medicine and an expanded system of care and specialists; physician access to Mayo Clinic specialists, including e-consultations; proven quality indicators, and increased patient satisfaction.
Moorings Park’s Platinum and Diamond membership programs are designed to provide prioritized placement on available residences and an opportunity to experience an array of amenities and services, such as the community’s onsite healthcare, engaging social activities, and celebrated dining prior to committing to residency. Members will ultimately enjoy the benefits of Moorings Park’s amenities currently in development, including enhancements to the clubhouse and expanded dining opportunities. Most importantly, the programs offer the peace of mind that comes from knowing a plan for the future that offers an active lifestyle and a continuum of care is available at Moorings Park.
Moorings Park’s Platinum Membership Program is ideal for individuals and couples who are within one to two years of making their residency decision. The Diamond Membership is available to individuals and couples who are in the early stages of finalizing their retirement plans. Both programs are available for a one-time membership fee plus an affordable monthly charge. The membership fees can be applied to residency entrance fees at Moorings Park or at the Moorings Park at Grey Oaks campus.
Services available to Platinum members at Moorings Park’s Center for Healthy Living include a complimentary monthly spa treatment at the Rejuvenate Salon and Spa; a complimentary monthly personal training session tailored to meet individual fitness needs; outpatient rehabilitation services; and access to the Center for Healthy Living's Sheffield Theatre, special events, and internet cafe. Platinum members are provided access to events at the Bower Chapel and may enjoy two complimentary dinners per month at one of Moorings Park's five casual and fine dining venues, including the Trio Restaurant. A Platinum Personal Charge Card entitles cardholders to charge meals at the dining facilities and to access additional services at the Center for Healthy Living. A Personal Concierge is available to members Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
The Center for Healthy Living’s features include cardio and strength programming geared toward seniors, as well as cognitive and memory training. Licensed physical, occupational and speech therapists establish customized treatment plans with patients and their physicians to meet specific needs. The Center is home to the Sheffield Theatre that is suitable for feature films and lectures, the Rejuvenate Salon and Spa, and a Max-Wellness retail store with products ranging from natural vitamins and supplements to fitness items and mobility devices. The Center for Healthy Living’s Internet Café offers an opportunity to socialize over healthy fare. Additional charges apply for meals, spa treatment services, personal trainers, and purchases in the Max- Wellness store.
Platinum Membership provides prioritized access to all available Moorings Park independent living residences. Prioritized access is also provided to Orchid Terrace® Assisted Living and Memory Care and to The Chateau® Skilled Nursing on a private rate basis. Upon approval, Platinum Members will receive 24-Month Moorings Assessment Protocol (MAP) protection. All residents of Moorings Park are required to undergo an assessment which qualifies them for Independent Living. Platinum Members may choose to undergo this assessment and defer admission to Moorings Park for up to 24 months from the date of the assessment while protecting the opportunity to secure a residence.
Other benefits of a Diamond Membership include access to the Bower Chapel’s worship services and concert series subject to availability; clubhouse privileges, including all lectures and special social events; and dining privileges in the clubhouse main dining room, grill room, and the upscale Trio Restaurant subject to availability. A members-only Diamond Personal Charge Card entitles cardholders to charge for meals and retail purchases.
