The Chateau has been awarded the High Performing Badge for its long-term care and short-term rehabilitation services. Only 19% of U.S. nursing homes earned at least one badge.  “Moorings Park is very pleased to achieve these distinctions,” said Moorings Park CEO Dan Lavender. “Receiving an honor such as this reflects on our long-standing mission of providing Simply the Best® facilities and services for successful aging with professional and compassionate care to each person we serve.” Most centers received one of three ratings – high performing, average, or below average – for both Short-Term Rehabilitation and for Long-Term Care. The ratings are based on U.S. News’s in-depth analysis of publicly available data, including information that is not factored into Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) star ratings. Unlike the star ratings – which The Chateau is five-star rated  -- the U.S. News ratings recognize that patients undergoing relatively short-term rehabilitation have very different needs from those who require longer-term care. Nestled within the original 83-acre campus of Moorings Park, The Chateau is a Medicare-certified skilled nursing center. A recipient of the Governor's Gold Seal Award, The Chateau has been recognized for its commitment to providing quality healthcare and services to the greater-Naples area. Chateau residents enjoy a full calendar of social, recreational and spiritual activities, including music therapy and chaplaincy service.
