Event to Focus on Financial Matters Regarding Dementias

Moorings Park is holding its final installment of its Memory Care Educational Lecture series on Alzheimer’s and other related dementias. The series, named “An Afternoon to Remember”, is open to the public.

The final event will be held on Thursday, November 2, at 2 p.m., in the Grande Place ballroom, located on the Moorings Park at Grey Oaks campus. Those wishing to attend should RSVP by 5 p.m., Monday, October 30, by calling 239-919-1732.

The guest speaker for the event is Richard J. Gow, a Wealth Management Advisor and Certified Senior Advisor with Lara May & Associates, a highly respected wealth management company. Gow’s presentation will focus on how to financially plan for family members going through the various stages of dementias, as well as the essential documentation needed.

The four-part, Afternoon to Remember educational lecture series on Alzheimer’s and other dementias, has been sponsored by Moorings Park’s two Assisted Living and Memory Care centers: Oakstone, located within Moorings Park at Grey Oaks, and Orchid Terrace, located within Moorings Park.
