When you keep working at something, you’re bound to get better at it.

The constant focus on self-improvement has paid off handsomely for Moorings Park Communities. It is an important part of the organization’s culture which has kept them at the very top of lists of the best retirement residences in the country.

Wellness At Its Peak

For example, Moorings Park Communities’ highly-regarded wellness program has evolved considerably since its campuses first opened. Moorings Park at Grey Oaks Executive Director Celeste Lynch recalls the days early in her career when she became Moorings Park’s first Director of Wellness. Celeste and the executive team worked with a consultant to expand Wellness programming for Moorings Park’s thriving independent living community.

“Several years later, we were able to create a personal training program as well,” she notes. “It’s been great to see that grow from one person on our original campus to lively programs at all three of our communities. We now have nearly a dozen full-time wellness staff on our three campuses.”

That program has become central to life at the prestigious campuses, helping residents stay fit and active so they can enjoy the retirement of their dreams. The outstanding program is a big reason the International Council on Active Aging (ICAA) and NuStep have honored the campuses, year in and year out, with Beacon Awards recognizing them as among the top 25 campuses in the country in fostering wellness and promoting active aging. ICAA and NuStep also recently bestowed a Pinnacle Award on Moorings Park Grande Lake for being among the top five campuses in that domain.

A Partnership Of Leaders

The collaboration between Moorings Park Grande Lake and luxury developer London Bay has yielded similarly stellar results for residents of that outstanding Naples retirement destination.

The partnership was a natural at its inception. London Bay has decades of experience in developing high-end custom residences, and has earned hundreds of industry awards for the excellence of its creations.

So it’s little surprise that the London Bay/Moorings Park Grande Lake partnership has also garnered high praise. The Collier Building Industry Association bestowed one of its prestigious Sand Dollar awards for the partnership’s work on the community’s Brook residence, recognizing it as the Interior Design of the Year in 2021. It’s little wonder the nearly 4,000 square foot floor plan became one of Moorings Park Grande Lake’s most popular residence options.

New Floor Plans Available

“We don’t rest on our laurels. We’re very excited to explore the next chapter with our residents and residents-to-be,” says Tom Mann, Vice President and Senior Living Expert for Moorings Park Communities.

At Moorings Park Grande Lake, that next chapter will focus heavily on Eagleview, the spectacular new building which is targeted for opening early in 2026. Eagleview showcases a number of lavish new floor plans developed in partnership with London Bay, including four bedroom/six bath penthouses of over 6,300 square feet.

“Residents who are lucky enough to move to Eagleview will benefit from our creative relationship with London Bay,” Tom notes. “Eagleview includes a limited number — less than a dozen — of extra premium units. There are six beautifully spacious penthouses with a stepped-down design, and another five second-floor residences with large private lakeside terraces with expansive yards overlooking Grande Lake.

“The community has already begun taking priority deposits,” Tom continues. “Even though the building won’t open for another three years, we received 15 priority deposits on the first day we began taking them. There are only 41 units in the building. Anyone interested in enjoying one of these exceptional residences should probably start checking them out sooner rather than later, especially if they’re interested in one of the extra premium floor plans.

“Pricing hasn’t been finalized,” he says. “We expect residences to range from $3.2 to $9 million. A real plus is that these residences have entrance fees are 70% refundable, and a sizable portion of that is tax deductible. Plus, there are no real estate taxes and no condo assessments!

“Eagleview is a premium residence at one of the finest retirement communities in the country,” Tom adds. “And it’s close to Port Royal, Gulf Shore Boulevard, Aqualane Shores, Old Naples, Bonita, and other well-heeled neighborhoods in Collier and Lee counties, so you’re not leaving the Naples things you love, like churches, clubs, restaurants and boards behind.

“And it will be extra convenient for those living near Bonita Springs to learn more, as we’re holding our next Lunch and Learn event at DeRomo’s!” he says.
