Community’s Most Popular Floorplan Wins Coveted Sand Dollar Award
Moorings Park Grande Lake has become one of the most talked about new retirement communities in Naples, and the unique design of its gorgeous luxury buildings is a major reason why residences are selling out faster than they can be built.
The community’s popular Brooks model is a perfect example of the high design standards that make Grand Lake stand out from the crowd – and industry leaders have noticed. In recognition of the Brook’s outstanding blend of beauty, creativity and function, London Bay Homes’ Romanza Interior Design received the Sand Dollar Award for the model, which was named the “Best Interior Design of the Year.”
The Sand Dollar Award is presented annually by the Collier Building Industry Association Sales and Marketing Council, honoring the most innovative and aesthetically striking designs in the county. Top honors are given in a variety of categories, from interior designs in residential and commercial properties to product designs and whole house remodels.

Luann Gliwski Powers is known for creating original, sophisticated spaces - a talent she brought to Grande Lake with tremendous success. Her work on the Brook accentuated everything from its soaring ceilings and light-filled room to its spectacular Grande Lake views. The result is a stunning and elegant living space where no detail has been overlooked.
“I can’t emphasize strongly enough that the views from each residence at Grande Lake are simply wonderful,” said Gliwski. “Not only is it a great selling point, but it was the inspiration for the design.”
