Moorings Park Communities, the parent company for Moorings Park, Moorings Park at Grey Oaks and the newest campus, Moorings Park Grande Lake, is thrilled to welcome Elisabeth C. Broderick, MD to the medical team. Dr. Broderick will be joining the standing concierge physicians, Dr. Ruben A. Contreras and Dr. David R. Linz, in the Moorings Park medical clinic.
“Dr. Broderick will be a great asset to our Moorings Park medical team,” said Tom Mann, Vice President and Senior Living Specialist. “It was important to find the perfect physician to join our concierge practice, from having experience serving boomers and seniors to incredible bedside manner. Dr. Broderick has extensive credentials in the medical field that are nothing short of impressive, and has served such a niche market of patients, making her an incredible fit for our community. After all, Moorings Park healthcare is some of the best in the country, and that is largely due to our doctors.”
With over 22 years of experience teaching geriatric medicine at Harvard University, lecturing in pain management, psychiatric issues and polypharmacy, Dr. Broderick will be a tremendous addition to the team in maintaining the health of the community’s members.
From Harvard to Mayo
Graduating Magna Cum Laude from Bucknell University, Dr. Broderick started her studies in Strasbourg, France, earning a bachelor’s degree in biology and international relations. She soon went on to complete her medical degree in Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, leading her to serve an Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
Dr. Broderick gained further experience continuing with a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine from Harvard, where she has impressively run the largest Program of All Inclusive Care for Elders in Massachusetts for over 17 years.
