Szlachetka Joins Moorings Park at Grey Oaks As General Manager of Dining Services

fine diningMoorings Park at Grey Oaks has hired MaryAnn Szlachetka as its new General Manager of Dining Services. Her responsibilities will include overseeing the dining operations at the Life Plan Community’s three new restaurants, the SandWedge Bistro, The 105 Restaurant, and the Vynes Restaurant and Bar, as well as the dining operations at Oakstone, which has Assisted Living and Memory Care residences.

Szlachetka has nearly 20 years experience in the restaurant industry. She began her career in Southwest Florida working for the golf and country club community of Mediterra as its Club Dining Manager and several years later opened the Mediterra Beach Club as its General Manager.

For 14 years, Szlachetka was associated with the 5 Star/5 Diamond Ritz Carlton Beach Resort where she managed and trained both dining room and banquet management staff.

Prior to joining Moorings Park at Grey Oaks, Szlachetka was the General Manager of Dining Services at Moorings Park’s main campus on Goodlette-Frank Road where she specialized in planning healthy meals for residents, training staff, as well as organizing banquets, special events and creative parties. She carried out similar functions as the Food and Beverage Director for Bay Colony Beach Club.

Szlachetka is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, but has also lived in Bethel, Maine, and Baltimore, Maryland. She has been a resident of Naples since 1990.
