In recent years, the city has become a cultural hub with so many ways to experience the arts and the culture it includes. Here are a few of the cultural attractions around Naples that should not be missed.

Artis-Naples

Artis-Naples is home to both the Baker Museum and the Naples Philharmonic. Artis-Naples hosts hundreds of events each year from Broadway shows to film festivals, while also featuring a resident orchestra. Cambier Park Community Concerts

Cambier Park consists of 12.84 acres of beauty located in the heart of downtown Naples. If you are looking for a gorgeous spot to relax on a Sunday afternoon, then head over to the park for a free concert. You will be serenaded by the sounds of the band while relaxing in the comfort of your own chairs or on a blanket.

Community Theaters

There are several theaters within the city that celebrate arts and culture through performances. The Sugden Community Theatre is home to the Naples Players, which is a nationally recognized community theater group. They host an impressive 220 performances a year, including four studio productions.

If you are searching for a more intimate setting, then head over to Theatre Zone. Members of Theatre Zone perform at the 250-seat G & L Theatre that is located on the campus of The Community School of Naples. You can experience various Broadway musicals that have earned Tony Awards in a small, local setting.

For a more sophisticated outing, check out Opera Naples. It is here that you will find Classic Grand Opera, American Opera, Operetta, and contemporary forms of Opera all in one place. The performances held at this venue have received rave reviews and standing ovations. Only two years after opening their doors, Opera Naples received the honor of Best Performing Arts Group by Gulfshore Life Magazine.
